"Green printing" accelerates the upgrading of the printing industry. The "green competitiveness" of printing enterprises highlights the need for everyone to participate in environmental protection. The promotion of green printing in the publishing industry conforms to the mainstream trend of the development of the global printing industry, which not only saves energy consumption, but also promotes the transformation and upgrading of the industry itself. On November 4, at the 2013 green printing promotion meeting held by SARFT, Wang Yanbin, director of the printing and Distribution Department of SARFT, said that with the gradual establishment of the standard inspection and supervision system, the social impact of green printing in China has become increasingly widespread. Now 70% of the national primary and secondary school textbooks have become green, and the green competitiveness of printing enterprises has become obvious

at present, the total output value of China's printing industry has reached 950billion yuan, ranking second in the world. There are more than 100000 printing enterprises, which are characterized by many points, long lines, and a wide range. The development of the enterprise is uneven, the range of products varies greatly, and the development modes are different. Both are green, but the two transmission modes have their own disadvantages: the former requires regular lubrication, and the specific problems encountered in the process of printing promotion. According to liuzhiquan, deputy director of the Department of science and technology standards of the Ministry of environmental protection, although the printing industry is not a major contributor to environmental pollution compared with some highly polluting industries, its volatile organic compounds (VOC) emissions also account for 13.4% of the total, as shown in Figure 6, and the volatile pollution is mainly caused by solvent volatilization

in the past three years since the implementation of green printing in China, the concept of green development has been greatly enhanced and become a development consensus through the formulation and implementation of green printing standards, the pilot and expansion of the field of green printing, and the improvement of supporting safeguard measures such as publicity and training

the implementation of green printing has accelerated the upgrading of China's printing industry. At present, the total installed capacity of computer direct plate making technology (CTP) and digital workflow in China is more than 7000 sets, and the total use of enterprise resource planning systems (ERP systems) in various industries is more than 1100 sets, with a year-on-year increase of about 30% over last year. Over the past three years, China's printing industry has adopted energy-saving measures such as central ink supply system, environmental protection oven and central gas supply system, which has reduced the energy consumption of equipment in the whole industry by about 10%. More than 350000 printing practitioners across the country have participated in green printing training. Books with green printing involve 20% of publishing houses in the country. Green printing has expanded from a single printing process to the whole publishing industry chain such as publishing and distribution, and together with digital printing, it has become the theme of industrial technology exchange and discussion

it is reported that the next stage of green printing will focus on the field of bills and tickets. With many researchers focusing on the modification of PLA, green printing is becoming increasingly popular. In the future, the concept of green development will also be extended to the whole industrial chain of paper, ink, equipment, design, logistics and so on. Further optimize the management concept, improve the production process, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and improve product quality. Green printing will lead China's printing industry to expand the market, stabilize growth, adjust the structure, and then achieve sustainable development
