Classification, capacity, size and material selection of steel drums

: I - grade 1 steel drums; II - grade 2 steel barrel; Ⅲ - grade 3 steel barrel. 7. How to select the material thickness of steel barrel

the thickness of steel barrel material shall be selected mainly according to the service performance of the steel barrel, and the following points shall be paid attention to: ⑴ whether the steel barrel is recycled: the durability of the steel barrel shall be taken into account when the steel barrel is recycled, and the thickness of the steel barrel material shall be appropriate when selecting. The steel drum is a one-time package without turnover. On the premise of ensuring the performance of the steel drum, the material of the steel drum should be thinner. (2) characteristics of contents: when selecting the material thickness of steel barrel, the material thickness of steel barrel shall be selected according to the characteristics of contents. When the contents of the steel barrel are dangerous goods, the steel barrel shall be thicker from the safety point of view. If the contents of the steel barrel are general goods, the material of the steel barrel can be thinner. (3) density of contents: when selecting the thickness of steel barrel material, the density of contents shall be considered. When the density of the contents is high, the steel barrel material shall be thicker. When the density of the contents is small, the steel barrel material shall be thinner. In a word, when selecting the material thickness of the steel barrel, it is necessary to ensure the usability and drying conditions of the steel barrel: 130 ℃ and 4 hours can be economically reasonable
